 
Bienvenidos al Centro de
Urología Pediátrica del Caribe, una entidad científica, la
cual concentra su atención en niños con alteraciones
Genitourinarias en las áreas de urgencias, consulta externa,
hospitalización y cirugía.
Son prioridades en el
Centro el conocimiento de la enfermedad por parte del paciente con
sus familiares, la buena relación medico paciente y la atención
con calidez y humanidad, porque sabemos que esto hace parte del
manejo integral y evolución de cada uno de los pacientes que
tratamos.
OBJETIVO
Nuestro objetivo es el diagnostico y tratamiento medico quirúrgico
de cualquier afección del sistema genitourinario en niños, ya sea
por patologías agudas o crónicas, problemas congénitos o
adquiridos, con el correspondiente seguimiento hasta su
recuperación completa.
MISION
Promover, coordinar y realizar investigación que contribuya al
conocimiento de la patologías Urológicas, que sirvan como un
factor de desarrollo y bienestar de la población infantil
colombiana.
VISION
El CUPEC será en el 2011 un Centro de excelencia en investigación
que contribuye al conocimiento y desarrollo de la Urología
Pediátrica, en red con múltiples organizaciones y con capacidad
para incidir en la toma de decisiones y en las políticas públicas
colombianas.

Welcome
Welcome to the Center of Pediatric Urology of the Caribbean (CUPEC),
a specialized medical facility dedicated to treat children with
Genito-urinary alterations, covering the areas of urgencies,
external consult, hospitalization and surgery.
The Center identifies among
its fundamental priorities the shared knowledge about diseases with
the patient and his/her relatives, a good patient-physician
relationship and warmth attention. We know that this is key part of
an integral treatment and satisfactory evolution of each patient.
OBJECTIVE
Our objective is the diagnosis and surgical medical treatment of
genito-urinary system’s affections in children, either by acute or
chronic pathologies, congenital or acquired problems, tracking the
patient’s evolution until his/her complete recovery.
MISSION
Promote and coordinate research to increase the knowledge
on urologic pathologies, serving to the purpose of the development
and well-fare of the Colombian infantile population.
VISION
The CUPEC will be, in 2011, a Center of excellence in
investigation that contributes to the knowledge and development of
Pediatric Urology, networked with multiple local and international
organizations and capable to affect public policy and local decision
making in the Colombian health environment.
